Tips for SSB Final Group Task (FGT) at SSB
In this article we will try to understand the objective of Final Group Task (FGT), rules of Final Group Task (FGT) and tips for Final Group Task (FGT). The Final Group Task (FGT) is the last task in the GTO series of SSB Interview, which is given to the candidates to be executed by the whole group. This is long and somewhat more difficult. Therefore mote timing is allotted for its planning and execution. The GTO explains the task before it is started. The candidates are required to listen to the GTO carefully.
The candidates have to note explanation and instructions of GTO in their minds. The candidates have to observe the materials, structures and fittings of structures on the obstacles. The minute observation will help in making good use of levers, bridges, rope swings, and support equipment and so on.
As soon as the GTO gives signal to start the task you should have the first opportunity of explaining your plan with confidence, so the entire group agrees and follows you in execution. You should always lead or involve yourself in major execution. It will also be necessary to execute the work in the team spirit. The result is to be achieved with joint efforts of all members of the group. Someone has to lead and act as natural leader during the process of execution till all men, material and load are carried and reach the finishing line successfully.
Objective of Final Group Task at SSB Interview
This is the last task at the SSB. Already before this task the GTO will note down and choose the candidate based on performance in their previous tasks. So it is also a last chance for the candidates to show up their qualities. Even some candidates may get a few chances to prove in PGT. So those candidates should use this to prove their leadership qualities.
It is also a PGT, but in PGT, the group has to cross four obstacles. Here in the FGT, we have to cross only one. So all should be fast in their decisions to work out their plans.
